Do it for David!

To celebrate Sir David Attenborough’s 93rd birthday, we joined many other schools across the country in holding a ‘no single use plastics’ day. We are passionate about raising awareness about single use plastics and continue to support our local Beach Guardians, Rob and Emily Stevenson, in their bid to help save our seas. As well as refusing single use plastics today, we also welcomed Zoe from Trevisker Garden Centre, who very kindly came in and planted a sunflower seed with every pupil in a recycled plant pot; no longer single use! A huge thank you to Trevisker Garden Centre for their support and to Zoe for giving up her time, the children were delighted to take home their own pot and we look forward to hearing who manages to grow the tallest sunflower!
