Katie Nelson (Yr 4) received some very exciting post this week as she received a reply from No. 10 Downing Street! Kestrels Class have been writing pledges about what they can individually do to help address the global problem of plastic pollution, and Katie pledged to write to the government! She went home and did just that, writing a super persuasive letter to our Prime Minister. Katie was delighted to receive a letter from Theresa May’s ‘head of correspondence’, thanking her for her letter and informing her that it has been passed to the department of Environmental Affairs and they would be replying promptly.
Great work Katie, you are a super ambassador for our school, showing that making small changes can help protect our beautiful oceans.
