The children really enjoyed the Go Ride event at St Breock. They learnt a lot about race tactics and working as a team. Well done St Merryn another excellent performance!
Barn Owls Class are having an amazing time in London. They slept well on the boat and then visited the beautiful Westminster Abbey followed by an incredible electricity light show in the Science Museum! Still more fun to be had tomorrow .
Children from years 3, 4, 5 and 6 were amazing in the very chilly KS2 Cross Country Competition today. They were brilliant ambassadors for St Merryn School. Well done to everyone that took part!

Key Stage 2 had a fantastic afternoon of topic-themed singing with Nicola from the Music Hub. The children all loved the rock n roll style Henry VIII song!
Everyone at St Merryn celebrated in style today as we raised money for Children in Need. The school council did a fantastic job organising lots of fundraising events from cake sales to obstacle courses! The highlight of the day was certainly the fashion show. In total we raised over £260, well done St Merryn.

The year 6 surfers had a fantastic afternoon on the beach competing against 3 local schools. The conditions were tough but all of the children managed to show off their surfing skills to the judges. The Barn Owls had a fantastic morning at Clip and Climb today.There were plenty of exciting moments with several of them overcoming their fear of heights and many beating their own speed climb records!
Children from Key Stage 2 represented St Merryn School at a Rounders Festival this afternoon at Wadebridge Secondary School. They had a fantastic time learning new skills and then playing matches against other local primary schools.
