A royal visit from Henry VIII

What a buzz there was in school today as we had a visit from Henry VIII himself! As part of their topic work, Starlings, Kestrels and Barn Owls all had a workshop with Henry VIII to kick off their Tudor topic.

Pupils were treated to a presentation in role, learning about Henry’s 6 wives as well as the many things he did for our country. They then had a go at some hands on interactive activities, using secondary historical sources to infer about the past, and finally a game of Tudor Trumps with the great king!
