The Barn Owls and the Kestrels were treated to a circus skills session in school today. Juggling and spinning plates were all part of the fun. We are looking forward to another visit next week

St Merryn School delivered an amazing performance at the Youth Speaks Area Semi Final in Tavistock. Rosa Hammond, Morwenna Williams and Maybyn Cooper Cross wowed the judges and the audience with their team’s speech on global warming. Well done girls, you made Mrs Cooper and all of us very proud!

All year groups enjoyed their workshop and assembly with Peter Frost from NSPCC. We learnt how to keep ourself safe and what to do in lots of different circumstances.

The speakers in this year’s Youth Speaks competition did an amazing job, and completely ‘wowed’ the judges. We were extremely proud of them all, and are thrilled that one team will be going through to the next round in two weeks time!
