Two teams represented St Merryn this week at the KS1 Multi Skills Festival. The children had fantastic fun at Wadebridge Secondary school playing games that developed lots of fundamental skills they use in PE like throwing, catching, running and jumping. We really can’t wait for the next event!

Years 1 to 6 joined other members of our community on the eleventh hour of the eleventh month. The village paused for a two minute silence as we remembered those killed in the two world wars and those killed or injured since.
St Merryn School children went spotty to raise money for Children In Need! It was a fun day that included a fashion show and a cake sale. Well done to everyone for all the money raised.

The children have been watching the builders progress with the new classroom. Some classes have even had the chance to talk to the project manager. We now have the shell of the classroom in place so it won’t be long now! The wagtails can’t wait to be out the hall and into their new classroom.
