KS1 Festival Fun!

Two teams represented St Merryn this week at the KS1 Multi Skills Festival. The children had fantastic fun at Wadebridge Secondary school playing games that developed lots of fundamental skills they use in PE like throwing, catching, running and jumping. We really can’t wait for the next event!

Year 3 visit the Seafood School

On Wednesday 15th November, Year 3 were invited down to the Seafood School for a masterclass on knife skills as part of their cookery curriculum. The new classroom is nearly ready!

The children have been watching the builders progress with the new classroom. Some classes have even had the chance to talk to the project manager. We now have the shell of the classroom in place so it won’t be long now! The wagtails can’t wait to be out the hall and into their new classroom.
