This week the year 6 pupils have had to sit their SATs tests. They have enjoyed a lovely breakfast, games and relaxation before their SATs. We are really proud of how hard they have worked. The photo is of them in the woodland enjoying some morning meditation!
Wagtails had great fun designing, making and then decorating their gingerbread people for the St Merryn School Bake Off. Their results were admired by all our customers and the stall was sold out within just a few minutes. Well done Wagtails!
Thank you so much to everyone who entered. There were some amazing cakes, breads and delicious pies! Huge thanks to the judges Marge, Mrs Lindsey, Oscar and Maybyn. It took them nearly 2 hours. We raised an amazing £340 towards outdoor play equipment for our Early Years classes.
Starlings Class had great fun last week weighing and mixing the ingredients for their sponge cakes before they went into the big ovens in the school kitchen.
