Our new Buddies delivered the harvest produce donated by school families to the local Age UK lunch at the church hall. The children spent a few minutes having a chat with members. Our older neighbours were delighted with their harvest gifts.

Wagtails children thoroughly enjoyed a visit from local farmer Richard Dennis and his shiny red tractor on Thursday. They all got to sit in the tractor cab and to ask Richard all about his farm. The children are planning to make their own tractors back in the Wagtails garden and classroom.
On the 16th July pupils in Starlings class visited the lobster hatchery in Padstow to find out about how the organisation is working closely with local fisherman to fish sustainably and ensure there are lobsters in our waters for hundreds of years to come!
On Tuesday, Zoe, a triathlon expert, presented silver medals to competitors Libby, Maybyn and Anya. They have competed and taken part in the Mini Triathlon Series; a swim, cycling and running competition. She would like to inspire more children to take part. Look at the carrots and onions that our farmers grew in school. Mrs Lindsey has been using them in our school lunches, even the carrots with two legs!
